Global-E is an Engineering and Manufacturing company principally for electric and hybrid vehicles.  The charter is to design, develop and then manufacture Efficient Emergent and Engaging vehicles that will change the world's view of energy by redefining the way resources are used. Alternative fuel vehicles in the market are the future. Innovation through design and science are the present. We envision a changed world, a world in which everyone has access to highly efficient, inexpensive mobility and where the globe does not suffer to achieve that change.

We are comprised of some of the world’s leading aerospace and automotive designers, manufacturers and entrepreneurs.  With a current head-count of 54 we have been able to design and begin assembly of our first test article, secure contracts for key components, begin design of a second vehicle and are currently supporting the manufacturing of a third-party vehicle. We are about to “launch” a change in transportation energy use, a change in manufacturing material choices, in corporate responsibility to the environment and to the public, and it will be a mind-set change from the consumer for better management of their responsibilities.

Since a primary goal is to demonstrate to the consumer that a vehicle can attain more than 100 mpg and that it looks and acts like a vehicle they already drive, we will capitalize on the Progressive Automotive X PRIZE competition since it too is a catalyst that will initiate a worldwide change. Our competition team’s goal is to be in the top five before the race even starts. Our business plan is beyond anything that any of the competing teams or AXP can imagine so we have the potential of winning this competition before anyone leaves the starting gate. This team’s pledge to the PAXP, through the company’s targeted goals, is to not only compete in the competition but to bring the vehicle to production no matter what the competition outcome may be. Even though this competition is poised to have the most marketable vehicle be the winner, this is certainly the type of competition where the overall winner may not actually be the most financially viable, as viewed by investment brokers. Our plan is to proceed into production despite the outcome and to capitalize on the participation, not necessarily the win.

Remember that you are the consumer and that you are the one who will be purchasing, insuring and maintaining one of these vehicles in the near future. Wouldn’t you prefer to have a vehicle that gets over 100 mpg, only needs fueling every eight hundred miles instead of the current three hundred and fifty? Wouldn’t you like to know that your vehicle only took half of the current energy to produce and was only produced from half of the materials of current vehicles? Wouldn’t you like to be a part of the company that produces a vehicle where you don’t have to change the oil but every 20,000 miles, don’t have to add water, no spark plugs and expensive electronics to go bad, no smell coming from the exhaust pipe, a vehicle you can drive from New Orleans to Detroit without fueling? You will be driving one of these vehicles in the near future so why not be a part of the original design and implementation team.

Our company’s goals and the PAXP’s competition are equivalent of the challenge to reach the North Pole, to fly across the Atlantic, or to create the first light bulb. There are going to be movies made about this event both in the next few years and in the future to come just as there were for the Henry Ford Story, the Enzo Ferrari story, the Carol Shelby story, and now the Burt Rutan story for winning the first X-Prize. It is going to be your choice as to whether or not you will commit yourself to supporting this effort with a donation, sponsorship or partnership. We will not make that choice for you. We are going for the goal, and either way you look at it; consider yourself at minimum, invited to the event of the century.
